In Tizimin there is a cenote in front of the Kikil Franciscan Convent, it is the Kikil cenote. Just a corner away from the road you will see a palapa and a path that will lead you to it. It is surrounded by beautiful flowers and trees that embellish the place, at first glance it reminds you of the Sacred Cenote of Chichen Itza since they are very similar.
It is an open cenote approximately 13 meters wide and 6 meters deep to touch its emerald green waters, if you want to descend you have to go down a slightly inclined dirt road and be very careful not to fall, as it is just being cleaned for its operation it does not have what it takes for you to enjoy its waters fresh in a comfortable way, because of this it can only be admired.
If you look closely you can see how the current moves the water from one place to another, on its stone walls you can see the birds fluttering Tho it finds in it a refuge to make their nests. However, you will spend a pleasant time contemplating the nature that surrounds this beautiful cenote. Scuba diving, swim, jump for a dive, -$20Lunes a Domingo: 8am - 5pm
