Cenote Yax Kin
The Yax Kin cenote is a beautiful and refreshing place with crystal clear waters, where you can swim on its beautiful waters, grill meat, camp or if you prefer you can rest on a hammock surrounded by the exuberant Mayan jungle.
Yax Kin has been open to the public for a short time, it is a large, circle-shaped cenote, surrounded by a lot of vegetation, it is considered the ideal place to spend the afternoon with friends or family.
This wonderful place has a shallow area at its entrance which makes it ideal for the little ones in the house to swim without any difficulty.
Located at km 242 of the federal highway Playa del Carmen-Tulum, passing the Xel-Ha park, this place promises to meet your expectations at affordable prices
There is nothing more rewarding than being able to take a rich dip in these crystalline waters on a hot day !!!. Practical tips that you should take into account when visiting the Yax Kin cenote
The entrance time to the Yax Kin cenote is from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, every day.
The General admission price is 100 pesos, for Quintana Roo 80 pesos. Children from 4 to 8 years old only pay 60 pesos.
The cenote has its own camping and if you want to camp it has a cost of 200 pesos per person.
The Yax Kin cenote facilities have toilets, palapas, lounge chairs and an area of 鈥嬧媓ammocks to relax.
We recommend you bring your own food, since once you are there you will only find a small shop selling snacks.
If you are lovers of barbecues in Yax Kin you will find one special area where you can prepare and make your own roast meat.
As in all cenotes, it is forbidden to introduce alcoholic beverages.
Remember to bring your own snorkel goggles in case you want to explore the beautiful crystalline waters that the cenote provides us.
Don t forget to bring your bathing suit and also your own towels. The use of sunscreen is not allowed since they pollute the waters and fish.
Smoking is not allowed.
If you love extreme sports, in the cenote you will also find platforms where you can jump and experience that adrenaline .
