Cenote Sac Actun
Gran Cenote is the main entrance to the Sac Actún System, also known as “La Cueva Blanca”, which is the second largest underwater cave complex on the planet, with its 176 kilometers of dark geological passages, all of them explored. It is known that there are at least 130 interconnected cenotes in this system.
The name of Gran Cenote is quite consistent with the place due to its great size and beauty, this last quality manifested in the attractive shapes of the stalactites and stalagmites that are observed inside. Sac Aktun, despite everything, has an acceptable illumination due to the sun s rays that penetrate the interior of the cenote and this offers us spectacular panoramic views of the entrance to the cavern.
You can enjoy snorkeling and cavern and cave diving, in addition to contemplating the fauna existing in this virgin forest.
