The Arcoíris cenote is connected with the Chikin Ha cenote through a phreatic gallery of white rocks, dissolved in all their forms by the salty water. Divers swim through a halocline before emerging into the roots of jungle trees that dig through rocks to hydrate in the underground river. Beautiful rays of light reach the bottom of the cave and lead to the second cenote. Upon surfacing, you can generally enjoy the sight of the motmot birds, the proud symbol and guardian of the Mayan caves. Then, the divers return from the other side of the gallery to reach its entrance in shallow waters.
If a little attention is paid to the shape of this cenote, we will notice that relatively recently this cenote It was underground, but the dome collapsed leaving only a thin strip of water that almost completely surrounds the central rock. Scuba diving, swim, it´s a cave, --8am - 5pm
