¿Why use biodegradable sun blocker?
It is a closed-type cenote within a cave, which has a water mirror measuring 27 meters long by 29 meters and a maximum depth of 31 meters.
It is distinguished by its large cavern which is accessed by a side entrance located on its north side and because it has large stalagmites that submerge in transparent water with good visibility for diving activity. Inside, some paleontological remains and charcoal remains have been found that possibly served as a hearth at the time the cave was dry, thousands of years ago.
It is recommended to locate the local guide, bring lamps to avoid incidents, the use of life jackets, avoid the use of sunscreen and be very careful when descending the ladder.
This cenote is located 39 kilometers from the city of Mérida, on the Mérida highway. Chetumal, taking the deviation to Acanceh, crossing the town of Cuzamá until reaching the Chunkanán farm in the municipality of Cuzamá, from the center of the town to the south, 2.5 kilometers of white road are covered in regular condition.
