Cenote Dos Ojos

Cenote Dos Ojos is one of the most beautiful cenotes in Yucatan and also one of the most famous, especially for diving enthusiasts.

It is called Dos Ojos because it is made up of two cenotes connected by underwater passage 400m.

It is part of the largest flooded cave in the world (347km!): Sac Actun.

With its translucent water and many corners to explore, it is the ideal place for snorkeling and diving in Yucat谩n.

In the semi-open part of the cenote, the light and colors are really beautiful.

There are 2 diving routes in the Cenote Dos Ojos: Barbie (515 m ), the Bat Cave (312 m).

Barbie: many stalactites and stalagmites, fossils, beautiful with its play of light and quite accessible because it has a maximum depth of 6.5 m and without current (it is not necessary to have an advanced level).

Batcave: also called Cueva de los Murcielagos is a shorter but darker route, with almost no natural light, with narrow passages, fo siles and stalactites. There is sediment, so it is important to have good buoyancy control.

It is one of the most touristic cenotes in the Riviera Maya, but I still think it is a must in Tulum because it is really impressive. Especially if you want to dive!

Also, as it is located in the same park as the other cenotes that I already mentioned, then you can enjoy several cenotes without having to move.

Scuba diving, swim, jump for a dive, it麓s a cave, guia, restaurante, estacionamiento, lockers, ba駉s, regaderas, sitio de taxis, renta de bicicletas, renta de equipo de buceominimo $200, todo el parque $1,3009am - 5pm
