Cenote Chaczinicche

In the beautiful area of Cuzamá, Yucatán, which houses a wide historical tradition, is the Cenote Chacsinicché, whose name in Mayan means tree with small ants, which is descended by a wooden staircase and has a circular light entrance and tree roots that almost touch the water, which is deep enough to dive and snorkel (27 meters).

The Chacsinicché cenote is considered by many to be the most beautiful in Yucatan, since space is large and navy blue water. Its vault is very small, so not much light enters from outside. The way to get to this beautiful natural spa is also one of its attractions: the trucks are small carts pulled by horses on rails, an ancient vestige of the heneque farms that abounded in the region.
