Indeed, the dark landscape during the guiding line is majestically decorated with speleothems.
Surely, you will love the adventure of snaking between the huge columns and the lasers of lights.
In fact, visiting this flooded cavern is every cave diver’s dream. Again, The labyrinth in which you will penetrate will give you an idea of how big the galleries are.

Keep following the line if you want to discover the Green Room, another cenote of the cave system Dos Ojos. Cenote Batcave has an underground river that leads you into a massive caverns then to a cathedral-like air dome. Here, you will popup at the surface to say hello to the bats.

The landscape at the end of the dive is breathtaking. Once again, visiting the batcave is extraordinary

Cenote Batcave is part of the system Sac Actun, the longest underwater cave system in the world with 364 km. It is situated 45 km south from Playa del Carmen, 15 km north of Tulum. Cenote batcave is world famous. Plenty of documentary have been done here in the late 90’s. For instance it used to be National Geographic’s spot for several months. It is a place where you can spend a day with your family snorkeling and enjoying the shade of the luxurious trees in the jungle.

At the entrance of the property you will see a small toll where we have to pay the entrance fees and you will be welcomed by the smiling mayan staff. After a short ride of 8 minutes, you will reach the main parking and start your cenote diving adventure. It’s clean and the infrastructure of the park is very good.
